So in honor of Valentine's Day, here is Josefina as Juliet. She's ready to perform in her school play or at least stand on her balcony sighing into the night over Romeo.

The costume is listed in my shop, although if it sells, I think Josefina/Juliet will be sorry to see it go. I guess I'll have to sew another one for her to keep . . .

Here kitty, kitty

Here is a new Valentine's Day dress in my shop. And yes, it has giant Valentine's Day kitties on it. When I saw this fabric, I had to buy some. It reminds me of the little puppy and kitten Valentines I used to get as a kid--I think they were Hallmark?

I debated whether to make a doll dress out of the fabric because the scale is so big. But then I though, who cares? Some people really L-O-V-E kittens.

I used a great Bunnybear pattern--I love these patterns so much. They are simple and straightforward and really, really cute.

Just like Valentine's Day kitties.

In fact, I like this dress so much, I almost didn't list it in my shop. I think looks good on Charlotte. I may just have to make her one too.

A Josefina January

I've made some new things for my shop--all in honor of Josefina. She is such a pretty doll and I love sewing from her patterns.

Now that I've "released collections" for both Kirsten and Josefina, I think I will add things to my shop one at a time now. I've got some silk waiting to be cut, the cutest (and funniest) Valentine's fabric for kitty lovers all ready to go, and an Italian Renaissance gown that is halfway done. Perfect for the doll who was just cast as Juliet in her school play . . .
