White Regency Dress

I've had the materials to make this dress for awhile now, so I decided to finally make it:

The dress is listed in my shop, although I love that pink trim so much, I may just have to make this dress again for one of our dolls to keep.

Some More Josefina Goodness

Out of all of my doll clothes sewing, I think I've made the most things for Josefina dolls. Here are some pictures of a recent custom order from my shop:

A short-sleeved version of the embroidered camisa with a green skirt:

And my version of Josefina's "Feast" outfit:

I didn't think the ruffled camisa above would be fun to sew, but it was. I think it would be fun to make it in more colors.

But that's it for Josefina stuff right now. Since I'm done taking custom orders for awhile, I dressed Josefina up in our own Feast outfit and set her on the shelf for a well-deserved break from modeling.

Unless I all of a sudden feel the need to crank out a few more embroidered or ruffled camisas . . . Crazier incidents involving doll clothes have happened around here.

Cinderella

Another blue silk Regency gown for a custom order--with a matching drawstring purse. When I set Charlotte up to photograph, I was too lazy to remove the silver slippers she was wearing.

So I turned her into Cinderella. At the stroke of midnight, she'll turn back into the scullery maid . . .

How Romantic

As a last hurrah for Valentine's Day, I'm offering a few Romantic (or Regency-era) ensembles in my shop. Yes, for all of you English-lit lovers out there, that is Romantic with a capital "R."

These pretty doll dresses go perfectly with Jane Austen novels or the poetry of John Keats--two of my favorite writers from the Romantic period whose work is resplendent with romance. Okay, enough with the r's already . . . Here are some pictures of the new listings:
